The Mother of All Problems

By Indi Riverflow | January 15, 2013

{Chorus}
It’s the Mother of all problems
Compounding original debt
Crushed under our cracking columns
Those pillars be the death of us yet

If we ask what war is for
Clashing along culture lines
It is for the horde devoted more
To changing spelling on the signs

When Nature’s uneasy turmoil strikes
Smashing against Babylon’s walls
Valleys fill the spaces between the spikes
But what if no towers were there to fall?

{Bridge}
It’s an error in valuation
Conflated to conflagration
The potential of creation
Crushed beneath piles of privation
Plagues of communication
Mixing fixation with predation
The bubble of innovation
Driving migrations by starvation

{Chorus}

We may be mightier than the mountain
But the microbe brings the giant down
When you have tapped the infinite fountain
The quest becomes how not to drown

Yeah, it’s the mother of all pollution
Solved with one clean clear stroke
The problem is settling on solutions
That won’t make the monster choke

Mother of all Problems
